If you want to donate to a cause related to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in the US, it isn’t always obvious where your money will do the most good. Some organizations run helplines and support groups, some fund research, some focus on educating patients and health professionals, and some spend their time pushing for better care and funding. Some do a mix of these.
Tell us what you care about most below, and the list will reorder to put the closest matches first. Nothing here is sponsored: every organization listed already appears on the main US resources page, and where we have checked a charity’s spending figure against its published accounts, such as the share of its spending that goes to programs, it’s shown on its card. A figure like that shows where money goes, not how much good an organization does.
Some of these organizations receive funding from pharmaceutical companies, as many patient organizations do, and it is published in their annual reports or in the companies’ own reports. It makes no difference to whether or where an organization appears here.
